EduConnect is grounded in a professional background in Title IX and civil rights, where student safety, accountability, and fairness are at the center of every decision.
That experience shapes how we approach substitute staffing today.
We don’t treat compliance as a checklist. We treat it as a responsibility. Every educator we place meets California requirements, including Live Scan background checks, TB clearance, and proper credentials or permits.
Just as important, we prepare our substitute teachers to step into classrooms with awareness, consistency, and respect, so schools can feel confident not only in their qualifications, but in how they show up.

Meet the Founder
EduConnect was founded by Victoria Avalos, whose background in Title IX and civil rights shaped the foundation of the company.
In her work, she saw firsthand how important it is to create safe, respectful environments for students , educators, and how much responsibility schools carry when bringing new people into their classrooms.
EduConnect was built to support that responsibility, with a focus on preparation, accountability, and making sure every educator placed in a classroom is someone schools can trust.
We’re not a national platform or a one-size-fits-all service.
Our educators take pride in their role. They care about the work they’re doing and the students they’re supporting. That shows up in how they lead the classroom, how they engage with students, and how they represent your school. Students feel the difference. Staff feel it too.
